Every track here was encoded from FLAC with RAD Tools v0.8i. This is the best quality version of the THAW soundtrack you will find on the webs. Scrapyard did make a "THAW HD Soundtrack Project" a year ago, but most of those songs are ripped from the Xbox 360 version, which isn't the best quality (128 kbps XMA).
In this soundtrack, 60 out of the 63 total tracks were sourced from CD rips, lossless digital downloads, and even vinyl rips! There are three songs here ("Live Near Death", "Like Eating Glass (TH Mix)" and "Rawhide") that were ripped from the PS2 version, which has the best music quality out of all the other versions of THAW (4-bit ADPCM).
